New York has released draft materials on the State of New York's sexual harassment laws. A new website resource for employers and employees, “Combating Sexual Harassment in the Workplace” is available at: https://www.ny.gov/programs/combating-sexual-harassment-workplace

The website includes:

• Model sexual harassment prevention policy for employers, considered to be the minimum standard requirement. Employer policies must meet the minimum standards laid out in the model policy.
• Model Sexual harassment complaint form
• Model training
• FAQs

Note that these materials are draft documents, and the state is seeking comment from the public on these proposed materials. Comments can be submitted via the new website on or before September 12, 2018.
